As
a certified, insured and registered yoga teacher, I bring 7 years of
yoga teaching experience, and over 20 years of study to the
development of these workshops. I am currently teaching morning yoga
and warm up classes for grounds and maintenance crews at Reed, with a
focus on injury prevention. In addition, I offer classes at two other
studios, and I have worked with seniors and disabled individuals for
almost 15 years. In our Saturday workshops, we will do some simple
asanas for general health and well being, and discuss the qualities
and purposes of the various chakras, followed by a chakra balancing
and attuning meditation. Students will learn how to work with their
breath and life force energy to improve mind body connection. Come
